The GKC AACN chapter invites you to join us for Visions 2025 conference, KC Nurses Courage to Rise!

This year's event is shaping up to be fantastic with speakers on trauma informed care, ethical dilemmas, the enduring culture of gun violence in the USA, ventilator modes, what's new in CV devices and so much more.

We will be hosting the event in the fantastic auditorium at Children's Mercy Research Institute.

There will be local poster presentations, a vendor hall and delicious food to round out the day.

Bring a nursing buddy for a great day of learning! 

The GKCAACN chapter is always looking for ways to give back to our community.  In that tradition we are partnering with the KCK cold weather shelter to provide much needed items to unhoused people as part of our event.  Please consider bringing adult sized gloves, boots or handwarmers to donate to this important work.  You will get an extra raffle ticket for every item donated!  Want to know more about this organization, check it out here: https://www.cross-lines.org/what-we-do/our-programs/kck-cold-weather-shelter.html

The Greater Kansas City Chapter of American Association of Critical care Nurses(AACN) will be holding the annual spring education symposium, “VISIONS 2025”, February 20, 2025 at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, MO.  Nurses from Kansas City and the surrounding region will participate in educational sessions. The attendees will be nurses who care for patients through the life span in ICU's and progressive care units.  

We want to extend and invitation to you or a colleague sponsor a table to offset fees for the symposium and to network with the attendees. I am contacting you as your company has been a vendor in the past or have expressed interest in attending. This email is to assess interest in being part of this wonderful event!

  We also have the option of sponsoring a break or lunch. We expect 80-100 attendees. 

While providers are invited, most of the attendees will not be prescribers of medications. However, the bedside RN does appreciate the information our medicine company vendors provide. 

 Our committee would like to emphasize that we are very much aware that without the support of our faithful vendors, our  critical and progressive care program would not be possible. Therefore, we appreciate your willingness to participate in VISIONS 2025.

I am contacting you as your school did attend last year's event.  We have had to increase our fee for shcool of nurisngs to $200 this year as we have more expenses. 

 The participants at this event are licensed nurses who may be interested in an advanced degree.
